April 7, 2015 Degreed Learning Culture Webinar

Most business leaders agree that the success of their companies is dependent upon a strong culture of learning. But learning and development professionals often control many aspects of process, stifling learning opportunities.

An upcoming webinar, scheduled April 7 at 1 p.m. (EST), will address how to handle this suffocating paradox.

The 45-minute webinar will be led by David Blake, CEO of Degreed and may be accessed at http://get.degreed.com/building-a-learning-culture-webinar

Webinar participants will learn how to:

  • ŸEmbrace employee-driven learning

  • ŸEmpower their employees to make their own decisions (selection, curation, purchasing) about learning

  • ŸCreate a culture of learning, which will enable a company to thrive

Participants will also learn how to create a “learners first” culture, while at the same time maintaining security.

For those unable to attend the webinar at its scheduled time, they may still register for the event and view it at their convenience. All participants may register at http://get.degreed.com/building-a-learning-culture-webinar

Blake is the founder of Degreed, and is also a Stanford School EdTech Entrepreneur.

Degreed, which revolves around continual learning in all of its endeavors, has offices in San Francisco, California and Salt Lake City, Utah. It was founded in 2012 and launched in 2013.

“The world of learning includes thousands of courses, programs, books, workshops, and now high-quality MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses). Organizations like Degreed help people catalog these learning experiences to better leverage their experiences throughout their career,” writes Bersin by Deloitte founder Josh Bersin about Degreed.
