The Diversity Career Fair by @HRTMExec

Are you either looking for a job or seeking job candidates in or around the New York area? If so, consider attending the Diversity Career Fair at the Hilton New York Midtown on Wednesday, April 8. The Diversity Career Fair is presented by the Professional Diversity Network and provides an opportunity for job seekers to meet industry influencers and like-minded professionals, while also networking with corporate leaders who are seeking a diverse workforce.

The schedule of events for the Diversity Career Fair is as follows:

 

11:30am – 5:00pm

Registration – in the hotel lobby, which will continue throughout event hours

12:00pm – 5:00pm

Open Networking and Recruiting – Casual “Open House” environment with employer representatives recruiting. Job seekers are encouraged to bring hard copies of their resume

1:00pm – 1:15pm

Workplace Skill Set Workshop – Learn the core skills for success in today’s workplace

2:00pm – 2:15pm

Resunate Educational Session – Learn how to optimize your resume with Resunate

3:00pm – 3:15pm

Dress to Impress Educational Session – Learn how to dress for the job you want, not the job you have

4:00pm – 4:15pm

Build Your Brand with Social Media Educational Session – Learn how to improve your online presence

5:00pm – 7:00pm

NAPW Power Networking Event (closed – free for members of the National Association of Professional Woman and $60 for non-members)

The Diversity Career Fair is sponsored by several companies, including the National Association of Professional Women, Starbucks, MBA Women of New York, and Financial Women’s Association. Exhibitors include Endeavor Air, Norfolk Southern, New York University, New York Army National Guard, and Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc.
